Primers

A critical element of any coating or bonding is the primer system that is used to seal, provide protection and enhance the adhesion to both the substrate and the next layer.

All our primers have been specifically engineered and tailor made to maximise the bond strength of our adhesives to most substrates. The correct selection and use of the primer system will ensure the greatest possible bond or inter-laminar shear strength is obtained, in turn providing the greatest possible performance and service life.

Our primers are used to generate a chemical and mechanical bond to surfaces that are traditionally difficult to bond to. They also provide the adhesive with a significantly stronger bond for high performance applications in highly demanding environments.

Our primers include:
